Berger - "Spitzbueb" Cake
A delicate shortcrust pastry with tasty raspberry jam. This popular pastry is made from classic ingredients, such as wheat flour, sugar and eggs.
The term ‘Spitzbueb’ or ‘villain’ dates back to the 19th century and was the colloquial term for spy or informer at the time. Because of the hole in the top layer of biscuits, through which one can "spy" on the delicious jam, these biscuits are called ‘villain’.
For more than 100 years, the name Berger has stood for fine enjoyment from the Swiss bakery. The uncompromising focus on quality as well as the likeable and independent appearance of the brand makes Berger the Swiss expert in the field of sweet small baked goods.
The Berger small baked goods offer quality recipes without additives, without palm oil, less sugar, but wholesome ingredients for healthier moments of pleasure without a guilty conscience. Innovative and tasty products for ‘love at first bite’!
