Turicum - "Wood Barreled Gin"
Distilled in the heart of Zurich, the botanicals used in Turicum Gin are selected with great care. Locally sourced and handpicked ingredients shape the Gin‘s unique character - a tribute to the city‘s origins. The Turicum Gin is distilled using the 'small-batch' process. The London Dry Style guarantees that only botanicals and water are used and no other ingredients and sweeterners are added.
The Turicum 'Wood Barreled Gin' has been stored for several weeks with a selection of cedar (Spain), red sandal (D.R. Congo), and oaks 'High Mocca' (France) and 'Pure Vanilla" (U.S.A.) wood chips. This gives this Gin, along with its amber-colored appearance, a special depth, paired with hints of vanilla and cocoa flavors. Striking in taste, gentle on the finish and always a delight.
Taste profile:
At first you may be a bit overwhelmed with its intense aroma and spice but in the finish you will discover beautiful tastes of oriental notes of sandalwood, cardamom, nutmeg and pepper. Spicy, intense aromas are accompanied by a subtle sweetness of dried orange zest, candied fruits and cedar wood. On the palate, dry citrus notes develop over time, giving this aroma force a welcome freshness. Pure pleasure, this gin will also open a new spectrum for exciting and more profound gin cocktails.
