Covid-19 implications on Swiss House Shop

With the outbreak of the Covid-19 virus (aka Corona-Virus) also we at Swiss House Shop had to make changes to our operation to do our part to serve our clients in a continued safe manner. Hereafter is an outline of what we have done and changes in our handling of Swiss products:

First off – SAFETY, and in particular food safety IS ALWAYS OUR TOP PRIORITY. Our staff handle food and beverage items only with gloves and wearing safety masks. Our warehouse and office are sanitized regularly to ensure a clean and safe environment. We never utilize packing material that is not provided by Swiss House Shop or our suppliers in Switzerland. Many of our customers have also noted that Swiss House Shop does a lot of deliveries nowadays by its own staff. In this way we can ensure the proper handling of our products while in transit to your office or home.

There are however also implications on our business that we would like to make you aware of and kindly ask for your understanding – As you may have read in the media, there have been outbreaks of panic-purchases also in Switzerland due to the spread of the virus also in Europe. We do keep a steady supply of products from our suppliers but we had to reduce the number of shipments from Switzerland slightly as number of flights have been reduced and space on flights is a valuable commodity. We thus kindly ask our clients for their understanding and patience if a product is not always available in stock thru our Webshop.

We offer the possibility to our clients to visit our office/showroom in Causeway Bay to either view products prior to purchase, get consultation about specific products, Swiss House Shop or Switzerland, and we also offer the possibility to pick-up orders at our office. We kindly ask you to wear a face-mask when visiting our premises and not to touch any articles we have on display. We thank you for your understanding in this matter.

Kindly note that we have face-masks from Switzerland in our office but these are not for sale, but for use by our own staff. We will have face-masks available thru our Webshop on a limited basis only as of mid-March. Not only the supply in Switzerland is limited but also export regulations are in place for said masks, thus we will limit the number of face-masks that can be purchased with each order.
