Part of the annual studies conducted abroad, some 50 students from the University of St. Gallen (HSG) and affiliated Universities in Switzerland traveled to Hong Kong to conduct research for their masters projects.

University of St. Gallen - Interview with Swiss House Shop
Conducting a study on potential "Success Factors of Swiss Cheese in Hong Kong", Swiss House Shop had the opportunity to meet with students Alexandra and Fiore from the University of Berne doing their Masters Degree for an interview. Swiss House Shop imports and distributes Swiss cheeses to Hong Kong as part of their product portfolio and specialized in the supply of Fondue and Raclette cheeses to its customers in Hong Kong.

Success for Swiss cheeses in Hong Kong depends on a vast range of factors that were explained in detail during the interview.

What better place to meet for such a discussion than the Swiss Chalet Restaurant in Tsim Sha Tsui? Owner Mr. Max Liechti served a number of Swiss specialties during the lunch meeting with the students to our delight.

Swiss House Shop would like to thank the HSG and affiliated Universities of Switzerland for the interview and wish all the students success in their academic and future endeavors. The event of the HSG was organized in close cooperation with Switzerland Global Enterprise and Swiss House Shop would like to thank the Swiss Business Hub Hong Kong for the organization of the interview.

The University of St.Gallen (HSG) was founded as a business academy in 1898 – in the heyday of the St.Gallen embroidery industry and is nowadays a School of Management, Economics, Law, Social Sciences and International Affairs. The first lectures were held in 1899. The practice-oriented approach and integrative view have characterised the education we offer since those early days. Today, we are one of Europe’s leading business schools and are EQUIS and AACSB accredited.
