As the world reels from the coronavirus crisis, a beam of light is illuminating Switzerland's Matterhorn mountain with a message of hope. Every night from sunset, the 4,478-metre high national symbol is splashed with words and images to inspire solidarity as people face up to the alarming spread of the Covid-19 pandemic. The light projections, created by light artist Mr. Gerry Hofstetter, nearly 800 meters high, have been beamed for more than a week from four kilometers away onto the north and east faces of the mountain, which straddles Switzerland's southeastern border with Italy.
We are often asked which of the Swiss products we offer help to stay safe. We believe that the measures put in place by our governments around the globe will help us to stay safe and healthy. We have introduced FFP2 respirators in our product portfolio as of lately and hope that all people follow the social distancing and hygiene guidelines implemented to contain the further spread of the virus.
