Bischofszell Nahrungsmittel AG was founded in Bischofszell, in the canton of Thurgau in 1909 by Mr. David Tobler. Originally Bischofszell specialized in the drying of fruits and manufacturing of other dried products. Today Bischofszell manufactures a vast range of foods and beverages for mainly the Swiss market. Bischofszell processes around 50'000 tons of potatoes, mainly from Switzerland every year for the production of potato chips and Rösti.
